Our Story

Maven Muse News is a platform designed to highlight intentional stories of authentic Black and Brown stories. Maven Muse News covers people, communities and entertainment.

Maven Muse was originally a content series, founded in 2017, which highlights various artists, influencers, and icons making prominent waves within the culture. Produced and hosted by Portia King, the series consists of 5-7 minute fun and engaging interviews. Past guests included talent such as Keke Palmer, Dreezy, the cast of FX’s Snowfall, Jermaine Dupri, Chris Redd, Joe Fresh Goods, and many others.
